Principal Photography Has Wrapped! Woo!

So, today is tuesday. We finished shooting on monday and things just went wonderfully. I couldn't have asked for better anything. The acting was superb, all the shots went off great, and even when we had to improvise it still turned out working much better than I had hoped. I have a few stills to show you guys, just so you're sure something is actually being done. Here you go:





Basically, I'm starting on editing tomorrow or the next day. I've been organizing my clips and readying myself for the past few days, so soon. I'm expecting a late august time for finishing everything. We will soon see...

Production Begins Tomorrow...

Crap.


I am terrified. But a little bit of pre-shoot jitters never hurt anyone. I'm running around today doing errands for all the little things I have yet to do. Redoing shot lists/shooting schedules, getting all the props together, making sure everyone knows where to be and when. Fun things like that. I'll try and get somebody to shoot a bunch of production stills so you can all take a look into what exactly happened.

Other than that though, don't expect a post for a little while. I'll be too busy stressing myself out.

Voice Over or No Voice Over?

I've been battling this dilemma for close to a week now and finally got the time to try each of them out. I was thinking about opening the film with some voice over from Grace and then ending it with her saying that she's been writing her testimony for the student court this whole time. I thought it could be kinda cool, but it's a bit difficult to write. This is like anything else of course, but I think it could actually work. It's nice too because I feel like it gives the film a whole new feel, but I don't really need to add any new shots for it, which is always a nice thing.

I'll update the page with some new drafts, as it has been a while.

I'll just give everyone some broad updates.

-All major and minor roles have been cast.
-Wardrobe is finished for the most part, which is something I've been working on heavily for the past little while.
-All pre-production is done.

I'm pretty much ready to shoot, but of course, sometimes you just have to wait. I'm only at 35 shots as of now though, which is pretty good. So far the shooting schedule is broken up into two half days outside and one full day inside.

I'll post more later, but I'm on a pretty wonky computer right now, which is making things difficult.
